The Role
We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our in‑house clinical team at Meadows View School. Working collaboratively with the education team, you will deliver bespoke OT assessment and intervention to pupils with developmental trauma, neurodivergence or SEMH needs. You will work within the standards provided in the OFG Occupational Therapy Ways of Working and hold a caseload under the support of a designated clinical supervisor and Lead Clinician. The role demands resilience, creativity and enthusiasm for innovative, person‑centred practice that enhances pupils’ quality of life.
Essential Criteria
* Undergraduate or post‑graduate degree in Occupational Therapy
* Valid and up to date HCPC Registration
* Registered member of RCOT
* Relevant experience in providing OT services within a similar setting is preferable
* Previously engaged with neurodivergent and/or learning difficulty and/or socio‑emotional and mental health difficulties in any setting, with transferable skills
* Sound knowledge and clinical understanding of OT theory and its practical application to support independence
* Experience of multi‑professional work with teams or services within the designated speciality preferred
* Ability to work independently, flexibly and confidently
* Clear and concise report writing skills
* Hold a full UK driving licence, with access to a car
