Job Title: Experienced Cover Supervisors

Know your way around a classroom and not afraid to take the lead? We’re looking for experienced cover supervisors who can walk into a school, set the tone, and keep learning on track.
We’re working closely with a range of secondary schools across Tower Hamlets and Newham who need confident, reliable cover supervisors that students respect and schools trust.
This one’s for you if you:
1. Have previous experience as a cover supervisor in a secondary school
2. Are calm, confident, and brilliant at behaviour management
3. Can engage a class, follow lesson plans, and keep things running smoothly
4. Hold a DBS on the Update Service (non-negotiable) - we can help for a new one if it has expired
5. Are reliable, professional, and happy working in different school settings
What you’ll be doing:
6. Delivering pre-set work across a range of subjects
7. Managing classroom behaviour with confidence and consistency
8. Supporting pupils to stay focused and on task
9. Being a steady, positive presence in the classroom

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
