The role of being a Care Quality Lead is an important role within working in health and social care. You will lead, develop and coordinate a team of care workers to provide the highest standards of respect and care. Overall ensuring the dignity of the client is maintained at all times.

About The Role
Principal Responsibilities
· Visiting service user’s properties to write care plans, reviews, risk assessments and/or attend meetings are their request.
· Attending multidisciplinary meetings to support the best outcome for the service user.
· Liaise with other professionals around the delivery of care to the service users.
· Ensure all care plans and risk assessments are up to date to enable the delivery of care to the highest standard and to ensure care plan are written to best enable the persons preferred outcomes.
· Review and adjust care plans and risk assessments, whilst liaising with Occupational Therapist and families where necessary.
· To support staff in delivering person centred care by making changes to care plans in a timely manner.
· To escalate reports and concerns of service users to relevant health and social care professionals.
· Undertake general observation and accurate reporting, both verbally and written, of service users’ physical, emotional and social wellbeing.
· Develop and maintain good relationships with service users and their relatives, as well as outside agencies and other professionals.
· Ensure the safe storage, documentation and administration of medication is carried out in accordance with current guidelines and training.
· Inform promptly to your line manager, of any serious illness, accident, incident and defects within the premises and complete the appropriate records.
· To record accurate and timely records of service users care, medication, SKINN bundle, dietary charts and any other charts provided.
· To attend team meetings, to engage in the exchange of information and communication to meet identified needs and encourage professional development.
· To support and care for service users who are end of life and work closely with other professionals and their relatives and friends.
· To support service users with specialist needs, e.g. stoma, catheters and those with mental health needs.
· To ensure all service users have accurate medication information on the care system.
· Monitor the alerts on the care system and action or assign the relevant alternative staff member when necessary.
· To comply with the organisations guidelines, policies and procedures at all times.
