Overview
East of England Community Health & Care NHS Trust is recruiting a Consultant in HIV & Genitourinary Medicine to join the Integrated Contraception and Sexual Health (iCaSH) team in Norfolk. The role will cover a 12‑month fixed‑term contract providing parental leave cover for 6 PA’s per week (24 hours per week), based in King’s Lynn.
Responsibilities
* Provide expert clinical care across HIV, sexual health, and contraception services.
* Deliver clinical leadership, give direction to medical, nursing, allied, and administrative staff.
* Support achievement of STI/HIV local public health targets.
* Develop and implement local and shared care pathways in line with clinical governance arrangements.
* Contribute to education, supervision, service development, and quality improvement.
* Work as part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to sexual health promotion and care, delivering services to national standards and guidelines.
Qualifications
* Broad and robust experience in sexual health and genitourinary medicine.
* Specific experience in the management of people living with HIV.
* GMC Specialist Register entry (or within 6 months of interview).
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Motivated and compassionate clinician.
