An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit a full-time Senior Residential Childrens Practitioner at Marshfields based in West Lynn. As an Ofsted registered Residential Children’s home we provide short breaks for children with disabilities, autism and/or complex health needs aged 5 to 17 yrs. As the Senior Practitioner, you will provide leadership support and supervision to the team with a specific emphasis on the striving for excellence through quality and consistency of practice.Crucial to this role is the ability to mentor, model, and direct best practice to Childrens Residential Practitioners to achieve the best possible outcomes for the children and young people. This role requires a Social Work, appropriate nursing/Occupational Therapy qualification or a level 5 in Residential Care. To be successful, you will have the knowledge and skills to work with children with a range of complex needs. The Senior Practitioner is required to work shifts including nights, sleep in and be part of the out of hours on–call rota, for which a payment is made.
