### Operations Director* **Operations Director*** **£90,000 - £120,000 per annum*** **Great benefits package including up to 15% annual bonus*** **On-site role based in Feltham**Working for a global logistics company we are looking for a highly competent and experienced Operations Director to join their team based in Feltham and take responsibility for the operational business in the UK including operations financials and more specifically that it meets the demands of the business in terms of efficiency and financial forecast. In addition, this position will be responsible for all Facility related topics for the UK business entity.As Operations Director you will also be responsible for UK security and regulatory obligations for the Company (Civil Aviation Authority & Facility). Oversee regulatory requirements of CAA (Civil Aviation Authority).**Overview of the role:*** Preparing and analysing operational & financial performance to discuss at the Operations Board Meetings* Manage and take ownership of Operations KPIs; implement and drive throughout the business to achieve Operational targets.* Analyse, day to day operations efficiently sustaining maximum productivity. Take an analytical approach, alongside logical and practical methods, to fine tune operational processes and their effectiveness for continuous improvement.* Communicate, collaborate with all business units within UK and globally* Leadership, plan & organize the operational teams.* Organise, establish clear organisational structures for operations including a Succession Plan.* Represent UK to regulatory authorities.* Ownership of the disaster recovery plan created by the organisation that contains detailed instructions on how to respond to unplanned incidents such as natural disasters, power outages, cyber-attacks and any other disruptive events.* Lead Facility Management, responsible for Health & Safety protocol and support operational procurement needs.* Review the Business Plan & Strategy making recommendation for change to maximise our position in the UK economic environment.* Cost management & reporting, identify & deliver operational cost reduction and cost avoidance initiatives.* In partnership with HR and the UK Senior Team, monitor and care for the work/life balance and mental wellbeing of self and each individual team member, this in line with the ethos of the company.* Inspire, lead, develop and manage the Operations team to follow the standards, to achieve overall team success in client retention, minimised client churn and client satisfaction.**Knowledge and skills required*** Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar level position* Experience in leading and coaching people to develop in their roles* Strong communication skills – written & verbal; ability to connect with all levels of people.* Excellent people management skills* Practical knowledge - CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) level Cargo Manager.* Understands cost effectiveness and working within a Budget.* Excellent analytical skills* Broad understanding of HMRC processes* Experience in developing departmental strategy and improving performance.* Competent in Microsoft Software# **Next steps**If you’re interested in this opportunity and you think you have the right skills and experience please do apply.
