Job Description:
We have a fantastic opportunity to work in a hybrid role where both your responsibilities will be a pivotal part of the team and centre’s success. This position involves marketing support to deliver campaigns and activities to drive footfall and ensure the best customer experience in line with the centre’s marketing strategy. You will work collaboratively within the centre management team and with retail and leisure tenants at the shopping centre in Hatfield.
The role combines Marketing and Leasing responsibilities, including generating interest from retailers and leisure operators for inline units and mall space.
The ideal candidate will have good communication, organisation, and negotiation skills, with strong digital marketing experience and a solid understanding of AI.
Daily responsibilities include:
* Supporting the delivery of the centre’s marketing plan
* Assisting with events, promotions, and customer service
* Collaborating with the retail liaison manager on centre production and standards
* Managing digital marketing activities across website, email CRM, digital screens, and social media
* Maintaining and updating the website
* Creating content for the centre’s content plan
* Ensuring marketing collateral complies with brand guidelines and approvals
* Tracking, analysing, and reporting on marketing activities
* Building relationships with retailers through visits and campaigns
* Proactively seeking new retailers and leisure operators

Candidate requirements include:
* Junior marketing experience, with strong communication and customer service skills
* Experience managing social media and marketing platforms
* Understanding of retail or hospitality customer experience
* Knowledge of the local area
* Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications
* AI experience
* Reliable, helpful, well-presented
* Ability to represent the team and act as a Brand Ambassador
* Ability to work independently and in a team
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Confidentiality handling skills
* Strong organisation and time management skills
