The role
We’re looking for a Credit Manager to lead our Accounts Receivable team within Premier Foods Business Services (PBS). You’ll play a key role in delivering a high‑quality, end‑to‑end credit and cash service, working closely with stakeholders across the business to support performance, controls and continuous improvement.
This is a leadership role with real impact — combining operational excellence, people management, and a strong customer focus.
What you’ll be responsible for
* Leading and developing the Accounts Receivable team to deliver KPIs, SLAs and service standards
* Managing credit control activities, cash forecasting and performance reporting
* Acting as a subject matter expert for credit processes across PBS and the wider business
* Ensuring compliance with financial controls, audit and legislative requirements
* Driving continuous improvement in systems, processes and customer service
* Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Deputising for the Head of Accounts Receivable when required
About you
You’ll be a confident people leader with strong credit control expertise and a collaborative approach.
Essential experience and skills
* Proven experience in credit control / accounts receivable, with at least 2 years’ experience
* Previous team management or people leadership experience
* Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data, KPIs and reporting
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Strong organisation, problem‑solving and decision‑making capability
* Experience working with SAP (or similar ERP systems)
* Experience working in a Shared Service Centre
* FMCG or fast‑paced business environment experience
