About the role:
We are looking for a professionally qualified Health and Safety Adviser to come and work in our Corporate Health and Safety Unit. The post holder will provide health and safety advice, guidance and support to a number of Services, but primarily Housing Services.
About you:
You’ll be:
1. Enthusiastic
2. Pragmatic
3. Experienced in providing health and safety support to construction and operational services
4. Minimum Certified Member of IOSH
What you will do:
5. Provide competent health and safety advice, guidance and support to all levels of employees working for the Council.
6. Undertake Inspections and Audits
7. Undertake incident investigations
8. Provide reports, trend analysis (both verbally and written) to the Corporate Team and all levels within the Service Area supported.
9. Demonstrate a passion for improving health and safety standards within the Authority
