Your new company is a well-established, long-standing construction business based in Port Talbot.
Your new role
As a Sales Ledger Clerk, you will play a key role in managing the company's accounts receivable function.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Maintaining accurate sales ledger records and ensuring timely posting of invoices
* Reconciling customer accounts and resolving any discrepancies promptly
* Monitoring outstanding balances and assisting with credit control processes
* Preparing reports for management and supporting month-end close activities
* Liaising with internal teams and external clients to ensure smooth financial operations
What you'll need to succeed
* Be able to drive and have your own vehicle
* Be immediately available
* Previous experience working within a sales ledger or accounts receivable role
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy when processing financial data
* Good communication skills for liaising with clients and internal teams
* Ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
* Knowledge of CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) would be beneficial but is not essential
