Role Overview:
Support class teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
Work 1:1 or in small groups with pupils to reinforce learning
Assist with phonics, reading, writing, numeracy and wider curriculum areas
Provide additional support for pupils with SEN or behavioural needs
Help maintain a positive, safe and stimulating classroom environment
Ideal for:
Individuals with experience working with children in schools, nurseries or other settings
Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to gain valuable experience before securing a teaching post
Graduates or students pursuing a career in education
Enthusiastic, patient, and reliable individuals with a genuine interest in child development
Requirements:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
Flexibility to travel to schools across Exeter and nearby areas
A proactive, team-focused mindset and a willingness to learn

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
