Field Sales Representative – West Country Region

Bristol, Bath, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Swindon, Cardiff, Newport, Taunton, Yeovil & neighbouring areas.


Job Brief

Driving each day to physically visit customers & prospects/leads within Sales Area Region on a cyclical planned schedule to process orders, grow customer base and brand awareness.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Field Sales Representative to join our expanding team in the West Country region and specifically based in the Bristol area. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in establishing and growing our customer base, representing our brand with professionalism and enthusiasm. Candidates should be I.T. competent with a willingness to self-learn and the ability to problem solve, making extensive use of our CRM system and web based order processing system.


Responsibilities

* Face-to-face and on the road prospecting, pitch, and secure new business with plumbers merchants, builders merchants, and DIY stores.
* Good phone communication to schedule appointments with existing customers and gathering information from prospects
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing effective solutions, managing client accounts & orders.
* Motivation, efficiency, initiative and the use of CRM reporting.
* Utilise your own personal vehicle for travel within the region, ensuring timely and efficient coverage.
* Account management; credit control, communicate and manage invoice payment, work within company payment strategies
* Collaborate with the existing sales team and head office to ensure cohesive strategies and brand representation including attending trade shows.


Requirements

* Reside within the West Country region but ideally within the Bristol area.
* Full access to a personal vehicle in good working order for work-related travel.
* Hold a valid driving license
* Possess a personal mobile phone with data plan for job-related communication.
* Previous sales experience, particularly in dealing with plumbers/builders merchants and DIY stores, is advantageous.
* Ability to maintain CRM systems & process order on internal web based order processing system.
* Proven ability to work independently and meet sales targets.


Schedule

* 8 hour shift
* Monday to Friday
