Role Overview
You will work closely with the DT teaching team to ensure that workshops, tools, machinery, and resources are fully prepared, well-maintained, and safely operated. The role involves:
* Preparing materials for Resistant Materials, Graphics, Product Design, Engineering and related DT subjects
* Supporting teachers during practical lessons
* Maintaining equipment and machinery to required safety standards
* Ensuring safe storage and handling of tools, components, and consumables
* Organising stock, ordering supplies, and monitoring inventory
* Helping students develop confidence using workshop equipment
This role suits someone with a technical or workshop background who enjoys problem-solving, planning ahead, and contributing to a creative, practical learning environment.
