More About The Role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Property Team for a 12 month industrial Placement as a Property Advisor - Estates.
This placement will focus on the day-to-day management of the retail, industrial and logistics portfolio which comprises in excess 800 commercial properties, over 9m sq ft. across the United Kingdom. The Property Team comprises 89 people including Surveyors, Property and Facilities & Maintenance Managers. This role is in the Estates Management Team, based in our Support Office in Bradford and is focused on providing effective and efficient property management of the operational estate in order to support our colleagues to provide an excellent customer experience.
Working closely with Head of Estates and Senior Estates Manager responsibilities will include:
* Undertaking day-to-day property management functions in a professional manner
* Engaging in asset management initiatives to protect and/or enhance asset values
* Undertaking lease renewals and rent reviews
* Maintaining reporting in respect of an existing portfolio
* Engaging with stakeholders, contractors and tenants when required
* Working with Property Finance to track income and costs across the portfolio
* Reviewing service charge demands including annual budgeting and reconciliations.
* Monitoring and managing key lease events, ensuring the accuracy of the property management database
* Engaging on other ad hoc property management and project as required
Regular travel is not required, however, you will travel as necessary to inspect properties and sites and engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure property and operational requirements are achieved.

About You
* Be studying for a Real Estate or closely related degree discipline
* Ability to work in a team and under your own initiative with intermediate proficiency in using Excel.
* Strong logical thinking, strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
* Experience in data management would be useful
* Ability to build strong relationships at all levels with the ability to influence.
* Customer focussed with a positive attitude
