We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our team in the LU area. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for food preparation and kitchen operations. Applicants must live locally and have the right to work full-time in the UK.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Assist in the preparation of all menu items under the guidance of senior kitchen staff.
* Maintain cleanliness and order in the kitchen, ensuring all areas meet health and safety standards.
* Support the kitchen team in stocking and organising supplies.
* Follow recipes and presentation specifications as set by the head chef.
* Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
* Maintain inventory and record food temperatures to ensure freshness and quality.
* Participate in regular training sessions to improve skills and adhere to industry standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
1. Experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential.
2. Strong understanding of hygiene and food safety regulations.
3. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
