FTV Proclad International Limited is a global leader in the protective weld cladding of pipeline components.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced UK Operations Manager to oversee our UK operations. The ideal candidate will have proven operations management experience, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive operational excellence. Responsibilities include developing operational strategies, managing teams, ensuring compliance, and achieving goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage performance of key suppliers across multiple programs, engaging stakeholders to support the Proclad Group.
2. Promote HSE awareness and policies.
3. Handle financial costing and planning.
4. Manage budgets and projects.
5. Use business metrics and KPIs to improve performance.
6. Oversee inventory management.
7. Conduct planning and forecasting analysis.
8. Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize capacity and minimize losses.
9. Ensure decisions are based on lessons learned, with risk and opportunity management.
10. Conduct self-verification to ensure compliance with procedures and quality standards.
11. Identify and mitigate risks proactively.
12. Implement cost-saving initiatives.
13. Manage staffing levels to ensure capacity is maintained.
14. Oversee personnel management.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, or related field.
2. At least 5 years of operations management experience, preferably in the UK.
3. IOSH Managing Safety certification.
4. Strong leadership and team management skills.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Ability to develop and execute operational strategies.
7. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and industry standards.
8. Financial acumen with budget management experience.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Proficiency with operations management tools.
