This is the job Joining the AA as Finance Systems Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of SAP Support Specialists to deliver 1st line Finance systems support & training to the AA Finance community, identify opportunities for improvements and support the Finance Systems project team in the implementation & testing of new developments. You will be accountable for developing Finance Systems processes and controls ensuring adherence to Financial, Regulatory and contractual obligations and developments. What will I be doing? Lead a team of Finance Systems Support Specialists to provide Finance Systems Support within SAP and other key finance systems Work with the Finance Systems Project Team to maximise automation of processes within all developments and ensure robust embedded financial controls Develop end user manuals when appropriate. Initiate, review, and implement improvements and best practices for Finance systems processes. Provide on-going user support and training for SAP Finance modules & other Finance systems – resolving non-routine and complex issues. Reconciliation of data ensuring full system integrity Monitoring of upgrades - review new features, enhancements, testing and implementation. Transaction feeds to and from other internal and external systems, including AAHelp, SAP FSCD, BCAS, Ariba, JPM, AAdvance, GlobalPay, etc What do I need? Capability, Knowledge and Experience: Strong leadership and managerial ability with proven motivational skills and experience of leading and developing a team Extensive knowledge of SAP finance systems (FICO, BPC and BW). Highly numerate with an advanced knowledge of accounting principles, practices and controls Proven track record of delivering change and able to capitalise on experience to drive automation and control Education and Qualifications: Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent) – Desirable Additional Information We’re always looking to recognise and reward our employees for the work they do.
