To provide health and social care service delivery in accordance with the Everycare Staff Handbook, Everycare's Policies & Procedures and training.
To organise safe travel to and from your place of work, and if requested to transport service users from one location to another in your vehicle, this will be subject to yours and Everycare's agreement, cover by suitable insurance and written authorisation by Everycare Management.
To undertake duties as agreed which could involve assignments from 30 minutes to 24 hour duration, including, day, night, & sleep-in duties.
Duties will include (in accordance with your training, Everycare's documentation and management authorisation), all aspects of health & social care associated with service users daily activities and identified needs i.e. assistance with continence, meals, dressing, washing, bathing, general personal hygiene needs, assistance with attending activities, shopping, collection of prescriptions, assistance and/or administration with medication, assistance with household tasks, or offering general companionship & other reasonable duties which may be requested from time to time.
The duties of this post require you to be physically capable of manual handling duties and you must be competent in handling difficult and challenging situations with empathy and consideration towards our service users.
You may be required to assist service users to attend hospital appointments & to escort them on social or other visits.
To report and liaise with the appropriate Everycare manager on a regular and 'need-to-know' basis
