We are recruiting for both:
* Level 2/3 Qualified Early Years Educators
* Apprentice / Unqualified Early Years Educators (full training provided)
The Role
As an Early Years Educator at Ladybird Nursery, you will play a key role in supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing.
Level 2/3 practitioners will take on key person responsibilities, while trainees will work alongside experienced staff while completing training and gaining valuable hands-on experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework
* Create a safe, secure and inclusive environment for all children
* Support children's physical, emotional and cognitive development
* Observe and monitor children's progress (Level 2/3 practitioners will take lead responsibility)
* Build strong partnerships with parents and carers
* Work collaboratively as part of a supportive team
* Follow all nursery policies, including safeguarding and health & safety procedures
* Participate in ongoing professional development
Who We're Looking ForFor Level 2/3 Applicants:
* Full and relevant Level 2/3 Early Years qualification
* Previous nursery or early years experience
* Good knowledge of the EYFS framework
* Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures
* Confident communication and teamwork skills
* A genuine passion for supporting young children's development
For Trainee Applicants:
* A caring, positive and enthusiastic attitude
* A genuine interest in working with young children
* Willingness to complete an Early Years qualification
* GCSE Maths and English (or willingness to work towards them)
* Good communication and teamwork skills
No previous nursery experience is required for trainee applicants, full support and training will be provided.

Pay: £12.98-£14.42 per hour
