VIGO is partnering with a leading smart buildings services provider to find a BMS Service Engineer for their Bristol territory. If you have excellent BMS engineering skills, a keen customer focus, and a solid understanding of energy optimisation, this is a great opportunity for you.

Role Overview
In your role as a BMS Service Engineer, your main mission will be to provide exceptional service, technical support, and energy-saving measures to a diverse range of clients. System maintenance, fault resolution, upgrades, and ongoing improvement initiatives will all fall within your remit. You will play a significant role in helping our clients achieve energy efficiency through intelligent building management.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide top-notch service and technical support to your assigned client base
- Spot and resolve faults within BMS systems, namely Trend and Tridium, and uphold high performance standards
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, endeavouring to meet and exceed service contract commitments
- Create in-depth service reports and recommend improvements
- Collaborate with the admin team and account managers in generating field-based quotations
- Identify potential system enhancements and energy-saving opportunities across sites
- Stay ahead of the curve with manufacturer and BCIA training courses to continuously improve skills
The Ideal Candidate
- Possesses 3+ years of BMS engineering experience, preferably well-versed with Trend, Tridium, or EcoStruxure systems
- Comfortable working independently and in a field-service environment
- A strong customer-centric attitude, coupled with a proactive, professional approach
- Technical adeptness in BMS system integration and fault finding
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Self-motivated, and eager to learn
