Role Overview
Fortem Solutions is recruiting a qualified Electrician to join our Stonewater Housing contract. As an Electrician you will be responsible for most aspects of repairs and maintenance to Social Housing properties across a wide patch including Yeovil, Warminster, Wincanton, Shaftesbury, Salisbury, Southampton, Swindon and surrounding areas. Your work will be carried out to a high standard with minimal supervision, aiming for a "First time Fix" on all jobs while operating within the company’s Health and Safety guidelines, maintaining budget and time parameters, and providing courteous service to tenants.

Our long‑term contract with Stonewater covers over 7,500 houses across four regions of the South-West. We deliver Repairs & Maintenance, Voids, Capital Works and an Electrical Service programme, supported by a senior leadership team with extensive sector experience.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Install, service and maintain electrical systems and appliances in accordance with the current Edition of the IET Wiring Regulations.
* Repair, inspect, test electrical installations and produce appropriate Electrical Certificate or Electrical Condition Report.
* Carry out EICRs and remedial upgrades as required.
* Work in partnership with other operatives to complete projects.
* Arrange purchase of materials to deliver works efficiently.
* Operate within company occupational risk policies and procedures.
* Record and submit accurate data using relevant business systems and electronic devices.
* Use PDA, smartphone and other tools to correspond daily with the Repairs Planning team and colleagues.
* Complete daily worksheets detailing work undertaken and materials used after each job.
Essential Criteria
* Card & Compass 2360 Part 1 & 2 Electrotechnical Competences plus NVQ 3 Certificate 2356.
* Technical Certificates L2 & 3 plus NVQ 3 Certificate or NVQ 3 2356 certificate.
* Card & Compass 18th Edition Certificate.
* Full UK driving licence.
Desirable Criteria
* Card & Compass 2391.
* Testing & Inspecting Certificate Card & Compass 2377.
* PAT Certificate.
* Social Housing experience.
