Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented
Conveyancing Solicitor
to join our growing property team. This full-time, on-site role offers the opportunity to handle a varied caseload of residential and commercial conveyancing matters. The successful candidate will be able to manage files from instruction through to post-completion, providing outstanding service to clients while ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a full caseload of residential and commercial property transactions from instruction to completion
* Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, transfer documents, and other property-related legal documentation
* Undertake due diligence including title investigations, searches, and enquiries
* Liaise and negotiate with clients, estate agents, lenders, brokers, and other solicitors
* Ensure all SDLT, Land Registry, and compliance requirements are met
* Provide clear, timely, and professional advice to clients throughout the conveyancing process
* Maintain accurate records and case management systems in line with firm and SRA requirements
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the wider property and legal team
Qualifications and Skills
* Newly qualified solicitor (NQ) up to 1 year PQE in conveyancing/property law
* Demonstrable experience in handling residential and/or commercial property matters (placements, training seats, or work experience will be considered)
* Excellent client care and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple files and meet deadlines
* Proficiency with case management systems and Microsoft Office
* Commercial awareness and attention to detail
* Full practising certificate and SRA registration (or equivalent)
