As an Event Manager, you'll play a key role in the planning and delivery of exceptional client experiences. You'll have the opportunity to attend some of the most prestigious events in the world including the Monaco Grand Prix and Royal Ascot and work alongside a high-performing team in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.
As an Event Manager, some of your duties will include:
* Plan and manage complex, high-profile events with multiple components and stakeholders.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, both verbally and in writing, ensuring clear and professional communication throughout the planning process
* Oversee the customer experience, handling queries and resolving issues efficiently and professionally.
* Attending events on behalf of Imperial Corporate Events and managing the onsite team
* Lead by example, setting high standards of professionalism, accountability, and a positive attitude for team members both in the office and onsite.
* The role will involve frequent travel throughout the UK, wider Europe and on an international basis, including weekends and overnight stays.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills:
* Proven experience in event management or project management within a relevant industry (e.g. corporate events, hospitality).
* A track record of successfully managing teams during live events, ensuring smooth on-site delivery.
* Exceptional attention to detail, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
* Experience working with excel, data export etc, mail merge and Microsoft Office packages
* Strong face-to-face client management skills, with the ability to build rapport and manage expectations under pressure.
* Passionate for delivering outstanding customer service
