Role Summary
Health Care Support Worker – Part‑time, permanent (30 hours per week). Work 12.5‑hour shifts both day and night at Ty Gobaith Children’s Hospice, Conwy.
Competitive salary: £25,596 – £28,173 per annum (full‑time equivalent, based on experience).
Key Responsibilities
* Provide holistic care and support to children and young people with complex, life‑threatening conditions and their families.
* Assist with playing, recreational and learning activities and collaborate with play leaders.
* Check and administer medicines under the supervision of a registered nurse, following safe medicines management training.
* Perform a wide range of duties related to the child or young person’s personal care needs.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should have previous care work experience, preferably with children or young people with complex needs. Compassion and strong communication skills to prioritize the needs of the child and family are essential.
