The Role
As a Workshop Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of heavy plant equipment within a workshop environment.
Key responsibilities include:
* Carrying out routine servicing and inspections on plant machinery
* Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
* Completing repairs and refurbishments within the workshop
* Maintaining detailed service records and job reports
* Ensuring all work is completed to high safety and quality standards
The Candidate
We are looking for a skilled and motivated engineer who takes pride in their work.
Ideal background:
* Proven experience as a Plant Fitter, PDI Technician, Workshop Engineer, or similar
* Strong knowledge of hydraulics, electrics, and diesel engines
* Experience working on equipment such as excavators, dumpers, rollers, and telehandlers
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
