What does the role look like? Due to significant growth and scaling of our operation, an exciting role has arisen for a bright, hungry, and enthusiastic professional to join us as Internal Business Development Manager within Praetura Investments. Based in our Manchester city centre office (Spinningfields), youll work closely with the External Business Development Manager within your region Youll run your region like your own business; together you will strategize and build structured plans, sharing and agreeing roles and responsibilities. You will get direct and regular exposure to the Business Development Managers, who are involved in ongoing fundraising for our offerings. Key duties: Develop and maintain relationships with a network of financial adviser and intermediary clients to maximise sales opportunities for the Praetura Investments product range. Contact potential or existing customers, asking questions to understand our customer requirements and building long lasting, consultative relationships. Gain a detailed understanding of the complex needs of our clients end customers and to position Praeturas offering as a solution. This will require an understanding a complex suite of financial products, and translate them into simple solutions for advisers and customers. Answer questions about our business, products, and services. Generate pipeline, establish solid next steps, and close sales. Become an expert in using our CRM system is to maximize the efficiency of our data and to improve customer care, helping Praetura interact with customers in the most effective way. Who are we looking for? Were looking for customer-obsessed graduates, who will exude our values every day; youll always do what is best for the customer, acting with integrity. This role would suit somebody with 1-3 years sales experience - this doesnt need to be in financial services. However, if you dont have sales experience but you are passionate, driven and willing to learn, we still want to hear from you. Full training in the role will be provided and there is a clear progression path for our Business Development Managers.
