Advanced Specialist Nurse Dermatology

NHS Borders is seeking an Advanced Specialist Nurse Clinical Lead to join our Dermatology Team and play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.

About the Role

You will provide expert leadership and clinical oversight within the dermatology service. You will work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective, and evidence-based care for patients with a wide range of dermatological conditions.

This is a key leadership role where you will:

1. Lead and develop advanced nursing practice within dermatology.
2. Deliver nurse-led clinics
3. Support service improvement and innovation.
4. Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to nursing colleagues.
5. Contribute to strategic planning and service development.
6. Act as a resource for patients, carers, and professionals across NHS Borders.

7. Is a registered nurse with significant experience in dermatology.
8. Can demonstrates strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
9. Has a passion for improving patient outcomes and service delivery.
10. Is confident in autonomous decision-making and clinical assessment.
