Job Title: SEN Teacher with KS4 Lead Responsibilities
Location: Hillingdon Manor School, Uxbridge
Salary: Up to £51,200.00 per annum (Dependent on Experience)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week; Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent, Term Time only
Responsibilities
* Teach in our Secondary Site to pupils aged 11 to 19, with an autism-specific approach and personalised lessons based on the National Curriculum.
* Lead in a particular curriculum area and contribute to school growth, with opportunities for ambitious teachers to develop into middle leadership.
* Promote the school’s vision and values and support KS4 with guidance and feedback to staff.
* Deliver lessons in a fun and engaging way, work with support staff to ensure each pupil receives needed support, and help create a positive learning environment.
* Provide feedback to Senior Leadership Team, parents and carers.
Qualifications
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS).
* Experience teaching in an SEN school or with pupils who have complex additional needs.
* Ability to plan and deliver engaging, effective lessons.

At Hillingdon Manor, we provide specialist education for pupils aged between 3.5 and 19 across two sites. Our pupils are taught in smaller class sizes and work towards a variety of qualifications based on their needs and abilities.
