ENT Medical Secretary

Main Duties
Reporting to the team leaders, the post holder will be involved with a wide range of duties including clinic typing, telephone enquiries, admin and non-admitted PTL.
* Organise and prioritise workload effectively, work on own initiative.
* Maintain excellent communication skills.
* Enjoy a driven secretarial role within the Head and Neck team.
Key Responsibilities
Complete clinic typing, attend to telephone enquiries, support administrative tasks, and manage non-admitted PTL.
Person Specification
Education, Qualifications & Training
* General education to GCSE standard or equivalent, including English and Maths.
* RSA stage III word processing or equivalent experience.
Knowledge & Experience
* Recent & relevant experience in an office environment in a clerical/admin capacity.
* Experience dealing with telephone enquiries.
* Understanding of confidentiality.
* Previous computer experience in a Windows environment.
* Previous experience in a healthcare environment.
Skills & Abilities
* Ability to work without supervision.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
