Your new company Based in Motherwell, our client is seeking a Finance Assistant to join their finance team on a permanent basis. The role is based in office and the hours of work are Monday-Friday and there is some flexibility on start and finish times, e.g. 8am-4pm/9am-5pm. It is advisable that applicants have access to their own transport and on-site parking is available. Your new role Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for a variety of finance administration tasks. Your duties will include: Creating new client accounts on internal systems Issuing invoices to clients Monitoring the finance inbox and responding to client queries Investigating and resolving invoice and account queries Uploading financial data to bespoke systems Working with Sage and other in-house platforms Supporting the wider finance team with general administrative duties What you'll need to succeed You will have previous experience in a finance or accounts administration role, with strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills. Experience using Sage and bespoke systems is desirable. You'll be confident working independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to resolving queries and supporting clients.
