This role provides the admin and clinical support to make sure the GPwSI Eye Clinic runs smoothly. This means you will be a central point of contact for the service. Your main admin duties include reviewing referrals to the service to check patients are suitable for the GPwSI Eye clinic, booking initial and follow-up appointments for patients, processing information as required. Clinically, you will need to undertake supporting activities for the GPs in the eye clinic, including instilling eye drops and performing examinations, including visual acuities, visual fields and Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT).
