Due to current post holders promotion secondment, and review of skill mix, we are pleased to offer the opportunity of a secondment and/ or fixed term contract opportunity for two posts within North Essex. Both posts are clinical lead Occupational Therapist roles, one being based within the Colchester team based within Herrick House, the second being within the Tendring team within Reunion House, Clacton. Both allow the opportunity for the successful post holder to develop leadership and clinical skills working with the broader multi-disciplinary team within the relevant locality base, with specific responsibility for the Occupational Therapy staff and provision of Occupational Therapy interventions. Main duties of the job The successful candidates will work as a clinical lead within the locality based mental health team (Colchester or Clacton), with direct responsibility for the Occupational Therapy team. As a senior practitioner they will support the delivery of services within the wider team as part of the multi-disciplinary team. The post holder will have the opportunity to utilise clinical skills as they contribute directly with the management of people with complex care needs, and leadership skills providing supervision and shaping the delivery of services.
