Job overview
This is a specialised post supporting all existing Imaging IT Systems such as Carestream Philips Vue Picture Archive and Communication System (PACS), Hyland’s Vendor Neutral Archive (VNA), embedded Radiology Information System (RIS) within our Electronic Health Record System (EHRS), Epic Radiant and teleradiology systems. The Trust has deployed the new Electronic Health Record Service (EHRS) Epic in March 2019, which has significant integration with the Imaging IT systems.
Main duties of the job
The post will bring a high level of IT and service related knowledge to bear on the support and development of the systems. They will have exposure to strategic planning and implementation for developments of the systems in conjunction with local IT teams and third party suppliers. The post holder will have a radiography/Imaging background.
