About The Role
Bespak is looking for an onsite Process Operator on the Holmes Chapel site, CW4 8BE. The salary range for this permanent onsite role is £33,200 plus a discretionary annual Bonus. Other benefits you will receive are 25 days leave plus bank holidays, a generous 10% pension contribution, onsite free parking, and medical / dental / health / life assurance.
Working Pattern – Monday to Friday (8:00 am to 4:00 pm) There is some flexibility on start and finish times.

As a Process Operatoryou’ll work alongside the operator team, troubleshoot operational issues, investigate non-conformances, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. Your commitment to safety and quality will be vital in maintaining high standards and achieving operational excellence. You will play an important role in developing new production processes, from initial concept to commercialization. The role will involve establishing standard operating procedures, training packages, and supporting pre-commercial activities. You'll be working hands-on, applying your technical knowledge to manual and automated operations, while ensuring compliance with cGMP standards.
Bespak in Holmes Chapel is an Investors in People Silver Award-winning pharmaceutical CDMO with over 350 employees, currently going through a period of significant site expansion. We are investing heavily to increase our capacity for developing and manufacturing sustainable pMDIs (asthma inhalers) with greener propellants, meeting the evolving standards of the industry, while providing comprehensive development, manufacturing, filling, and finishing solutions for a range of medical devices, including SMIs, DPIs, nasal sprays, and medical check valves.
As a Process Operatoryour duties will include:
* Develop new production processes from concept to launch.
* Maintain and update standard operating procedures (SOPs).
* Ensure compliance with cGMP standards and documentation.
* Troubleshoot operational issues and implement solutions.
* Participate in and promote continuous improvement initiatives.
* Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to safety protocols.
Process Operator, beneficial key skills, and experience:
* Strong written and oral communication skills.
* Good maths and computer skills.
* Proven problem-solving and change-management skills.
* Team player with manufacturing experience.

Holmes Chapel is a beautiful village in Cheshire with excellent transport links via its railway station on the Crewe-Manchester Line, proximity to the motorway network and Manchester Airport. The National Parks of the Peak District, Lake District and Eryri (Snowdonia) are within easy reach. The village has a population of nearly 7,000 and offers various amenities, including supermarkets, shops, restaurants, schools, and a GP practice.
This could suit someone with experience as a Process Operative, Plant Operator, Manufacturing Operative, Production Technician, Manufacturing Technician or a Chemical Plant Operator.
