Job Summary
We are looking for experienced, forward‑thinking and motivated GPs to join the team at The Meadows Surgery in Ilminster, Somerset. Two permanent sessions are available. The role offers a range of contracting options from salaried to employed and consultant, allowing career progression at all levels.
Key Responsibilities
As a GP with Symphony you will:
* Provide autonomous medical services to a practice population of 4,500 patients while complying with the GMS contract and GMC & RCGP standards.
* Carry out all duties reasonably expected of an NHS general practitioner.
* Work flexibly to contribute to quality improvement, QOF and research projects.
* Participate in annual appraisals and career development planning.
Qualifications
* Included in the General Practitioner Register under article 10 of the General and Specialist Medical Practice Order 2003.
* Not subject to suspension under section 41A of the Medical Act 1983.
* Qualified General Practitioner (completed CCT).
* Currently on a performers list and not suspended.
* Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) and holding an MBBS or equivalent degree.
