Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Café Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our café. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation and hospitality, with exceptional leadership skills to manage a dynamic team. Duties
* Supervise and coordinate daily café operations, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality.
* Manage food production processes, including cooking and preparation of menu items.
* Lead, and motivate staff to deliver exceptional service while fostering a positive team environment.
* Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards.
* Develop and implement new menu items in collaboration with the culinary team.
* Handle customer inquiries and feedback, ensuring satisfaction and addressing any concerns promptly.
* Oversee financial management tasks such as budgeting, cost control, and reporting.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or café industry.
* Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation and cooking.
* Background in hospitality management or related fields is preferred.
* Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen environments.
* Experience as a barista or knowledge of coffee preparation is an advantage.
* Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers and staff alike.

Pay: £12.21-£13.50 per hour
