Job Description:
Northstone, the leading manufacturer and supplier of building materials in Northern Ireland, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Engineering Graduate to join our team. The successful candidate will report to the Regional Operations Manager and participate in our two-year graduate development programme starting September 2025, aimed at developing technical, interpersonal, commercial, and management skills.
Our 2025 Graduate Programme offers hands-on experience, engagement with the Ibec Academy (accredited by TU Dublin), a Professional Diploma in Leadership and Competence, mentorship from senior leaders, and opportunities to develop technical and operational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Understand operation and maintenance of mobile and fixed plant and equipment
* Participate in process projects focused on sustainability and efficiency
* Prepare technical drawings and documentation
* Maintain high health, safety, and environmental standards
* Coordinate and oversee maintenance and upgrades under management guidance
* Communicate effectively with employees and contractors
Candidate Requirements:
* Relevant third-level qualification in Electrical / Building Services / Automation Engineering or similar
* Team player with a positive attitude
* Clean driving license
* Good interpersonal skills
* Proactive, organized, results-driven, self-motivated
* Knowledge of electrical codes and standards
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to meet deadlines
* Strong computer literacy, with proficiency in AutoCAD or similar (training provided)
