Electrical Maintenance Engineer An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a highly respected engineering organisation operating within a complex and safety-critical environment. This role sits within a growing calibration and maintenance team supporting advanced manufacturing operations. Location : Stevenage Salary : Circa £42,500 depending on experience Working Model : Fully onsite, 5 days per week The Role: • Work within a multi-disciplinary team supporting manufacturing and operational activities • Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on plant and process equipment • Maintain specialised systems including environmental chambers, gas systems, and ESD-controlled equipment • Diagnose faults and perform root cause analysis to minimise downtime • Ensure all maintenance work is completed in line with technical specifications and internal procedures • Accurately record maintenance activities to ensure compliance and traceability • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the department Essential Requirements: • Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering or Manufacturing (e.g. ONC, Diploma, NVQ or equivalent) • Completed Electrical or Manufacturing apprenticeship (Level 3 or equivalent standard) • Proven experience maintaining and repairing industrial plant or process equipment • Ability to follow manufacturer guidelines for servicing and maintenance • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills • Good IT skills, with experience using maintenance systems (SAP advantageous) • Proactive approach with strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities • Strong commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork Desirable Experience: • Experience working with environmental test equipment or chambers • Knowledge of compressed air, vacuum, or gas systems • Background in electronics or manufacturing environments • Familiarity with ESD testing procedures • Understanding of electrical regulations such as 18th Edition or equipment inspection standards Additional Information: • Candidates must be British citizens due to security requirements • Successful applicants will be required to undergo security clearance checks Benefits: • Performance-related bonus • Competitive pension contributions • Paid overtime opportunities • Additional annual leave options • Enhanced parental and family leave policies • Excellent onsite facilities including subsidised meals and parking For further information feel free to reach me at 02895213213, or simply apply!
