Specialist Occupational Therapist: Major Trauma, Ninewells Hospital
Band 6 Full Time Fixed Term/Secondment for 1 year

Are you an Occupational Therapist who has a passion for supporting patients through their rehabilitation journey. If so, then we have the post for you!
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the Major Trauma Rehabilitation Service for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist. The post holder will work with the major trauma Occupational Therapy team to deliver rehabilitation to patients in the Major Trauma Ward and across inpatient specialities. The postholder will also work flexibly to provide outreach rehabilitation for major trauma patients in the community across Tayside, working with community partners.
The postholder will support ongoing service improvement work within the Occupational Therapy team and the wider EoS major trauma service.
You will join a multidisciplinary team with a strong focus on high quality, integrated working, aiming to provide the best patient experience possible using evidence based practice.
We are looking for an individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
AHPs are moving to 7 day working and this post will require some weekend working in line with the evidence base and strategic direction of NHS Tayside.
