We’re looking for a motivated individual to join our product development team as a Product Developer. Whether you’re already working in qualification development or looking to take the next step in your career, this is a great opportunity to contribute to the design and delivery of high-quality qualifications. You’ll work closely with colleagues across assessment and project teams to help shape products that make a real difference to learners and workplaces around the world.
What you will be doing
The role looks at the development of new health, safety and environmental products (including courses, qualifications and supporting materials); to review and maintain existing products; and to help achieve and maintain accreditation with our regulatory authorities and professional bodies.
About You
* Be a qualified occupational safety and health (OSH) practitioner, with practical experience in applying OSH principles in the workplace
* Knowledge of the environment NEBOSH operates in
* Knowledge of NEBOSH products and services
* Excellent written and verbal communications
* Working in accordance with quality, environmental and health and safety management systems
* Promoting a culture of health and wellbeing and developing a positive working environment through good practice, communication, and support
Key skills and attributes for the job
* Hold the NEBOSH National Diploma for Occupational Health and Safety Management Professionals, or equivalent level health and safety qualification (e.g. NVQ)
* Experience in product development and assessment is desirable but not essential
* Experience in project management is desirable but not essential
* Have a positive attitude to change and the ability to be creative
* Be agile in their approach to their work and their workplace
* Ideally hold a current driving license and / or be willing to use public transport to attend meetings throughout the UK when required
* Experience of delivering training and/or presenting would also be advantageous
Working week
35 hours Monday – Friday
Work base
We have adopted a hybrid working environment which allows you to work remotely as well as from the NEBOSH offices in Leicestershire (close to Fosse Park and M1).
£44,301.30 per annum
