Care Support Worker
Candlelight Care is looking for enthusiastic, caring, and dependable individuals to join our dedicated and friendly, family‑run team. You will support vulnerable adults in the comfort of their own homes across Wimborne and the surrounding areas. We have opportunities for both full‑time and part‑time Care Support Workers. Typical shift patterns run from 7am to 2pm and/or 4pm to 10pm, and we ask for a commitment to working alternate weekends. Driving is not always essential, depending on location.
Job Type(s): Full-time and part-time positions available
Salary: £12.40 per hour + paid travel time and mileage
Key Responsibilities
No two days are the same in health and social care. You will build relationships with your clients, understand their interests and needs, and provide emotional and practical support. You will assist with personal care (washing, toileting, dressing), carry out domestic tasks, prepare meals, and handle medication, mobility aids, and personal equipment where needed. You will also report any significant changes in a client’s health or circumstances to the Registered Manager while promoting independence and safeguarding wellbeing.
