Our Customer Delivery Driver rate of pay starts from £13.35 an hour; this increases to £14.56 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
It’s our policy to offer new colleagues joining us a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but if you’d like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) we have opportunities for this too and would still love to hear from you.
The table shows the periods of time in the week we’d like you to be available to work – the availability windows. We will schedule your contracted hours within these times, and you’ll have 3 weeks’ notice of exactly when your shifts will be. We are happy to support flexibility for our colleagues, therefore if the times you’re available to work match closely but not exactly to the times we are advertising, we’d still love to hear from you. Pay and Hours
Rate of pay starts from £13.35/hour, increasing to £14.56 inside the M25. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, with options for fewer hours (minimum 12). Your shifts will be scheduled within your availability windows, with 3 weeks’ notice provided.
Responsibilities include
* Ensuring the van and trays are clean and organized
* Maintaining the cleanliness of the delivery area and picking up litter
* Washing trays as required
* Loading the van and checking its roadworthiness
* Communicating with customers about order changes and substitutions
* Handling products carefully and delivering within the scheduled time slots
* Calling customers before early arrivals or if running late
Requirements
* Build relationships with colleagues to foster team spirit
* Be warm and welcoming to customers and colleagues
* Respond quickly to customer needs and embrace change
* Be energetic and driven to exceed expectations
* Share ideas for store improvements
* Hold a valid UK/EU/EEA driving license for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points
