The Managing Director Role
The Managing Director will lead the business and take full responsibility for its performance. Reporting to an experienced and supportive board you will set the vision, shape strategy and inspire a talented leadership team to deliver results. This is a role for someone who can drive change, deliver growth and motivate people across all levels of the organisation.
There are exciting challenges and opportunities ahead. You will be leading the business through its next phase of growth and investment, driving performance, profitability and efficiency across all areas of the operation. You will build strong customer relationships and expand into new markets while inspiring, developing and empowering the senior leadership team. Above all you will ensure the business continues to deliver innovative, high-quality food solutions.
The Must-Haves
* Proven leadership experience at board or executive level in food manufacturing, wholesale or distribution.
* At least 10 years experience across commercial, operational and financial areas of the food industry.
* Strong commercial understanding including full P&L responsibility.
* A collaborative, open and engaging leadership style that fits a people-focused culture.
* A proven track record of delivering growth in a competitive market.
Location: South West England, commutable from Bournemouth, Southampton, Poole, Salisbury and surrounding areas.
Package: Competitive base salary £120,000 - £150,000 plus benefits.
