Community Care Assistant – Bridgend & Porthcawl
Locations: Bridgend & Porthcawl
Pay: £12.70/hour + £12.21/hour (paid travel time) + 35p/mile mileage
Contract: Permanent | Full-Time or Part-Time
Shifts: 07:00–15:00 and/or 15:00–22:30 | Includes weekends & bank holidays
Driver essential (own car required)

We're looking for caring, reliable, and flexible Community Care Assistants to support older adults living independently at home in the Bridgend and Porthcawl areas.

Your Role
* Deliver personal care (washing, dressing, toileting) with dignity and respect
* Support with meals, mobility, and medication
* Provide companionship and reassurance
* Build strong, trusting relationships with clients and families
* Keep accurate notes and communicate with the wider care team
What We're Looking For
Naturally kind, patient, and professional
Flexible with shifts, including alternate weekends
Confident working independently in the community
Full UK driving licence + your own car (essential)
Previous care experience required
Willingness to work towards NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care
