About the role
Are you a creative communicator with a passion for storytelling, digital content and the great outdoors? We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Communications Officer to lead on developing and managing our online presence. You’ll be the voice of the Partnership across digital platforms – creating engaging content for our website, social media channels (such as Facebook, X/Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok), newsletters and print materials.
Your focus will be on telling the story of the DDL Partnership's work through video, photography, and inspiring campaigns. You’ll collaborate with a wide range of Partners to amplify their messages, highlight success stories, and encourage public engagement with Dartmoor’s incredible landscapes.

About you
Our ideal candidate will be an experienced digital communications professional with strong creative, technical and storytelling skills. You will be able to confidently manage social media and websites, and create content that captures attention and drives engagement.
You should bring:
- Experience using web CMS, digital design and content editing tools
- Strong photography and video production skills
- A track record of engaging diverse audiences through digital platforms
- A collaborative approach and ability to work with multiple stakeholders
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2 AA) and digital best practices
- A qualification in media, communications or marketing (or equivalent experience)
You’ll be innovative, self-motivated and passionate about connecting people with Dartmoor’s heritage and natural beauty.
This post will be based at Parke but will involve travelling around Dartmoor and surrounding areas.
