Job Title: SEMH Learning Support Assistant Location: Northumberland Contract Type: Long term temporary Leader Education are recruiting a passionate Learning Support Assistant to join a secondary school in Northumberland. This role involves working closely with children who have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Applicants must therefore demonstrate resilience, patience, and the ability to manage challenging behaviours and additional needs effectively. The school is dedicated to providing a high-quality education for its 100 learners. Guided by core values of respect, integrity, compassion, honesty, and trust, the school ensures that these principles are embedded throughout the curriculum and in every aspect of student care. The normal working pattern is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 08:30 to 15:15, and Tuesday and Thursday from 08:30 to 16:00.
