About Us:
Our secondary school in Romford is dedicated to providing a high-quality education and fostering a love for learning among our students. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Graduate of Drama to join our Drama Department and support our mission to deliver outstanding Drama education.
The Role:
As a Graduate of Drama, you will work closely with experienced teachers and support staff in the Drama Department. Your responsibilities will include assisting with lesson delivery, providing one-to-one and small group support, preparing teaching materials, and contributing to the overall development of the Drama curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of Drama lessons, ensuring they are engaging and accessible for all students.
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students, helping them to understand complex scientific concepts and improve their academic performance.
- Prepare teaching materials and resources for practical experiments and classroom activities.
- Support teachers in managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Contribute to the continuous development of the Drama curriculum and participate in departmental meetings and training sessions.
Requirements:
- A recent degree in a Drama-related field.
- A passion for education and a desire to inspire and motivate students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
- Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- A commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
