Bristol – Finance Director / Head of Finance
Location: Bristol (some travel)
Salary: Circa £85,000 + £6,500 car allowance + Bonus

About the Role:
We’re seeking a Finance Director / Head of Finance with significant experience in industrial engineering or manufacturing. This is a high-impact, senior leadership role, you’ll guide financial strategy, influence operational decisions, and lead a multi-site finance team to deliver excellence across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Own budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning with precision and strategic insight
* Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team
* Oversee monthly accounts, cash flow, tax, audit, and risk management
* Provide senior leadership with actionable financial insight to drive decision-making
* Build strong relationships with auditors, banks, and key external partners
* Continuously improve systems, processes, and controls to streamline operations
Experience & Skills:
* Proven finance leadership in industrial engineering or manufacturing
* Multi-site / multi-location financial management
* ERP/MRP system experience, including ERP change programmes
* Strong people management experience
* Fully qualified (CIMA, ACCA, or AAT)
* Excellent communication and influencing skills
* Tech confidence - Excel, Power BI, ERP systems
