This is a hands on role focused on protecting critical data, systems and infrastructure, working closely with technology and compliance teams to maintain a strong security posture.

What you will be doing
* Implement and manage security controls across networks, systems and endpoints, including patching, hardening and access control
* Monitor security events using SIEM and related tools, investigate alerts and lead incident response activities
* Own identity and access management processes including privileged access, SSO and MFA
* Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability scanning and support penetration testing and remediation
* Lead third party risk assessments and supplier security reviews
* Support audits and ensure alignment to recognised standards such as ISO 27001 and data protection requirements
* Contribute to security projects, continuous improvement initiatives and awareness across the business
What they are looking for
* Strong hands on experience with security technologies including firewalls, EDR, IDS IPS and vulnerability management tools
* Solid understanding of network security, operating system hardening and cloud security in Azure or AWS
* Experience working with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST or CIS controls
* Proven capability in incident response, threat analysis and root cause investigation
* Good working knowledge of identity and access management principles and tools
* Ability to translate technical security risks into clear business impact
Nice to have
* Experience with security testing tools and penetration testing coordination
* Exposure to scripting or automation for security operations
* Industry certifications such as Security Plus, CEH, CISSP or equivalent

* Confident communicator who can engage both technical and non technical stakeholders
* Collaborative approach with a proactive and improvement focused mindset
* High level of integrity and accountability when handling sensitive information
