Logistics Manager - Contract
Location: Coalville
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 pro rata
Hours: Monday to Friday only (no weekends)
Contract: Full-time, 3-month contract
Start: ASAP
A manufacturing company in Coalville is looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to join on a short-term basis. You'll be responsible for managing warehouse and transport operations, leading a team, and keeping things running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage teams across transport, loading, and materials
* Oversee stock levels, delivery schedules, and supplier coordination
* Control logistics costs and ensure efficient, safe operations
* Maintain accurate stock records in Microsoft Dynamics 365
* Enforce Health & Safety processes and documentation
* Support logistics strategy and process improvements
* Liaise with 3PLs and handle supplier performance
What You Need:
* Proven logistics/warehouse management experience in manufacturing
* Experience managing teams and external logistics providers
* Confident using Microsoft Dynamics 365
* Able to document and deliver process training
* Organised, proactive, and commercially aware
* Strong communication skills and a hands-on attitude
